What luck. The Fish tile is right near the steps to this floor. Then again, is this a sign of good luck or of bad luck? If I recall all my other good turns lead to bad things happening, and as I am near the top I can only suspect the worst is about to show it's face. Mind you, looking at the walls in this area, may be punishment enough. Not sure I even want a picture of this floor.

I finally found the Fire Ball spell. Now my knowledge of fire magic is complete. This is the most powerful of the fire magic spells and like Fire Bolt, this spell can be used both for melee combat and thrown at an opponent who is at a distance. As I have a lot of arrows, I am not sure this feature will be utilized.

Wouldn't you just know it. I cast an armour spell to replenish my protection and in the very next room is the Field spell scroll. The Field spell is the most powerful of the protection spells. The problem is that only one protection spell will exist at a time. Casting a new protection spell will negate the existing spell. Not one to waist spell points, this means that I will have to wait for the weaker Armour spell to run it's course before I cast the field spell. On the bright side, I now know all of the spells that are available in this tower. Now the only thing I have to worry about is surviving!

I wasn't going to make any pictures of this level, but then I encountered a mummy and simply knew that I needed a picture!

As I explore this level it has become obvious that there is a secret room. A brief search for a secret door confirms this theory. Within this room was a ring of extra protection. At this point this is a blessing as the monsters here are quite hardy! Suspecting there was a second secret room, I searched the secret room for another secret door but failed to find one. There appears that there will be a gap in the map, but perhaps there is another secret door in a future room.

Sure enough, the next room I entered I came across another secret room. This one contained a couple of Extra magic potions but a bit of searching revealed that it was connected to another secret room that had Extra Healing potions.

Working my way through this level consisted of a lot of battles but the path was vary linear. The beast at the end of the spiral was not a very pleasant surprise. There are probably more of these minotaur's on the top level, and hopefully the last tile is also on the top level as I don't think I missed anything on a lower level (and would really hate to have to do all that back-tracking). What surprised me was the lack of a color door.

Map
