If you do want to salvage a doomed relationship, you may find that you have to commit to new values.

Another common interpretation of this card is that it is about leaving a difficult situation behind you. Some consider this taking the cowards way out. Running away from a bad situation now may mean regret later. For this reason, it is wise to take a close look at the situation and see if there is a way to salvage it. Make sure that it is truly worth salvaging and that all parties involved are equally committed to success, otherwise leaving the situation behind you is truly the best option.
