The Wheel of Fortune represented in this card is simply a reminder that life is like a wheel (or as the President of Blazing Games says, a sine wave) with constant ups and downs. The beginning is the end is the beginning or is it the end is the beginning is the end? In an old chinese proverb, wise men were given the task of giving the emperor something that would not change. A wise man wrote 'And this to shall change.' The only constant in life is uncertainty.

While the wheel of fortune represents luck, it is best to take responsibility for our actions instead of blaming fate. Failure is only inevitable if you do nothing. Opportunity may be knocking but the only way to know is to open the door. Luck comes to those who give it enough opportunities to show itself.

While life often feels like you are being swept along with the tide, perhaps the problem is that you are too focused on swimming against the tide. The best way of getting out of an undertow is to swim parallel to the shore until you get out of the current. Swimming towards the shore will just tire you out. Being aware of your situation often gives you the mental tools necessary to escape it. Remember the old saying, 'Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.'
