Dozen Days of Dice: Shut the Box

Instructions

Setup

The game can be played with up to 6 players and the players can be either human or computer. Use the radio buttons on the title screen to set each of the 6 possible players to human, computer, or none. Once you are ready click on the Start the Game button.

General Game play

The goal of the game is to get the lowest score possible by shutting as many boxes as you can. When you roll the dice, you can shut the box matching the total rolled or can shut two boxes that together add up to the total rolled. When the 7, 8 and 9 boxes have been shut you are given the option of only rolling one die instead of both dice. You keep rolling until you are unable to shut any boxes. At this point your score is the total of all the boxes that have not been shut.
