The Five of Cups represents loss. This card reflects the grief that you may feel over something being taken away from you. While the disappointment and loss may seem overwhelming, it is important to accept things the way they are if you want to be able to move into the future. The future lies ahead of you and can be whatever you make it but in order to make something of the future you need to stop looking at the lost opportunities of the past. Loss is often the results of our previous mistakes. By acknowledging your mistakes, you can try and make sure that in the future you do not repeat them. Most people hit hard times.
