Overview

This game was created in order to learn how to use RPG Maker VX Ace. I had started creating a much more elaborate game for the RPG Maker June contest but as always, things came up and I simply did not have enough spare time to do the game justice. It may be revisited in the futute as it had a very interesting story. Not sure if it will be a RPG Maker game, though, but if the next version of RPG Maker supports larger resolutions and multiple platforms then that is a possibility.

This is unfortunately, a Windows only game. I had assumed the packager would only include necessary files but was wrong so this is a fairly large download. Here is the ZIP file.

Gameplay is simple. You use the cursor keys (or controller) to move. Enter to perform actions (such as talking to people or attempting to open a cell door). Escape brings up the menu which allows you to use items and set your equipment. When you acquire new items it is important that you equip them. This is a fairly short game .
