Slot Machines Bunker Style

There is a door located in the norther part of the map. When you try to enter the door, you spot a machine that appears to be the unlocking mechanism used for opening the door. There are five slots in the machine which clearly correspond to the five coins that were found throughout the caverns. Perhaps the coins have to be placed in the proper slots in order to open the door. How to determine the slots? Trial and error is not really an option this time around as putting a coin in the wrong slot will result in a lethal shock!

You recall the strange piece of paper that is located right where you enter the caverns? The number 34??8 is written on it. This is a five number sequence. But what exactly could the numbers represent? Well, the pictures on the coins are all of geometric shapes. The different shapes have a varying number of sides on them. Triangles have 3 sides, squares have 4 sides, and octagons have 8 sides. The missing two numbers are the pentagon which has 5 sides and the hexagon which has 6 sides.

The next question is where do the last two coins go? if you look at the numbers in the sequence, they are growing progressively bigger. The logical assumption would be to place the pentagon after the square and the hexagon before the octagon. Below is a screen-shot showing the solution.
