Fun with a Flashlight

At the end of the previous episode, you found a secret entrance to some type of underground bunker. While it is dark underground, you do not need to worry too much as unlike the last time you were exploring a dark network of caverns with a torch that had a very limited lifespan, this time you have a flashlight that has an unlimited life span. The problem with flashlights is that they tend to give you only a small window on the world. While some people could argue that the window presented to the viewer in this episode was too small, my goal was to emphasis the limitations of exploring with a flashlight so the over-exaggeration was intentional.

Now is the time when I beg you to actually play through the episode on your own and only use the map and solution images if you are honestly stuck. Games are far more rewarding when you complete them on your own. Due to the deadly nature of the door, the best way of playing through this game is to think about the 5 pieces you have found and how they relate to the note and the door. I think the solution is obvious, but having been the person to design the puzzle I could be wrong.

The note is found immediately when you enter the dungeon. 34??8 is obviously a sequence and is probably important to the solution to this episode. If you look at the map, you will notice that in addition to the note, there are five other objects hidden in the corners of the bunker. Just knowing their relative locations makes finding them within the game fairly easy. Still, if you hate running into dead ends, then the map is below.
