The casino dice game

One of the most interesting dice games ever developed, with some of the best and some of the worst odds in the casino. Now with a graphical table to place your bets on and dice that you get to throw.

Playing the Game

The game starts out with what is called a come-out roll. This roll is covered by the pass line bet. If this roll is a 7 or an 11 then it is a win and another come-out roll is required. If the roll is a 2, 3 or 12 then it is a loss and a new come-out roll is required. In all other cases, the number rolled becomes the point number and the goal changes. Now the player must keep rolling until the point number is again rolled, which is a winning roll, or until a 7, which is now a losing roll, is rolled.

Pass Line Bet is the bet described in the last paragraph.Once a pass line bet has been made and
a point is set the player is able to make what is known as a free bet. This bet is paid off at proper odds.

Come Bets have the same win/lose requirements as the pass line bet but are made only after the point has been set. They are essentially new games but are played at the same time as the original pass line bet is being played.

As with pass line bets, you can place free odds on a come bet once the come bet's point has been set.

Placing a number or buying a number are very similar bets. You are essentially betting that the number you are betting on (4,5,6,8,9, or 10) will be rolled before a seven is rolled. Place bets pay as follows:

Buying a number pays true odds but takes a 5% commission on the bet.

Don't pass or don't come bets are the same as pass or come bets except the player is bettng against the player. One other difference is that a come out roll of 12 is a push.

The don't bet has the equivalent to the free bet, but this time the bettor has to put up more money than they will get back. These bets are called laying odds.

The field bet is a one roll bet that the 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 will come up on the next roll. 2 or 12 will pay double.

The other one roll bets are betting that the next roll will be the indicated number. They pay verfly high
but have poor odds (hence why they pay so much).

Hardway bets are a bet that the particular number will be rolled as a double before a seven is rolled or the number is rolled any other ways. For instance, a four needs to be rolled as 2 and 2, with 3 and 1 being a losing roll.

This game is requires Java 1.1 or better to run. Browsers that support 1.1 tend to be 4.x or better versions. Windows XP users may have to download a Java plug in to use Java applets.
