Poker Dice goes Gold

17:00 Taking an extended break for supper and to ponder what else I will do if anything.

19:30 As it turns out, company came so I was late getting back to the one thing that I decided I should add to the game. Sound. To get the most realistic sound I could, I recorded five different dice rolling sounds. Each sound was rolled with a different number of dice. The sound that gets played is the one matching the number of dice being rolled. Not everyone likes sound. I personally tend to listen to my own music or podcasts when I am playing games so to me it is not that important. For that reason, being able to turn the sound off is a vital feature to add. This is a toggle that is essentially two buttons that swap each other out while setting the global sound volume on or off.

With the sound finished, I decided that I should do a bit more fine tuning. I still didn't like the dice so I re-did the look of the dice. I then changed the way that the play order works so that the order of play is linear but the first player rotates every round. Of course, this means that the idea of a round is a bit more important, so I added round text to the bottom of the screen. I can think of a few other things that I would like to add, but I am not sure how long they will take and it is now10 pm which means that I only have a couple of hours left so I might as well call this release done.

22:00 Final build of project declared to be completed.
