Blazing Games - Ultimate Retro Project - Volume 5 - Episode 52
Ultimate Retro Project
Episode 52 Modern Monster Hunt
Playing the Game
The game is played by pointing and clicking. There are three actions that can be performed.
- MOVE by clicking on the door you wish to move through. If the room you enter contains a trap or the Medusa then the game will be over (and not in a good way). The name of the current room that you are in is above the southern door.
- SHOOTING can be done only after you have obtained one or more arrows. After you click on the shoot arrow button you click on the door that you wish to shoot through. If the door you shoot through contains the Medusa then you win. If, on the other hand, you shoot through the wrong door then the Medusa will hear
you and will randomly move to
another room, possibly the room you
are in! If the medusa ends up in your room you lose. You can change your mind by clicking on the shooting button again.
- GET an arrow by clicking on it. Of course, to click on an arrow there has to be an arrow in that room.
Behind the Game
This type of game was the predecessor
to the Adventure game. This particular
version actually uses an early version
of the rooms classes that are required
for adventure games. Adventure games
add more commands which are used to
solve puzzles.
