Egg GeneratorApril 1st to April 7th, 2007

What can I say about this week? As old time visitors will have noticed, the organization of the site has changed a bit. Now the site is more focused on individual projects, of which visitors will have a say in. For some people, the site changes alone would be enough, but not for me. In addition to the site overhaul, and just in time for the Easter vacation, I am releasing my Egg Generator to the Silly Stuff Collection. Finally, I should point out that my (Billy D. Spelchan) personal blog has moved to a new location. There is a link to it below.

Egg GeneratorApril 8th to April 14th, 2007

While a Thirteen Spikes Strategy Guide may not be much of a release, Modern Melee Combat is still a couple weeks away from being finished, though if I am feeling energetic this weekend it may be ready next week. Even if you don't care about 13 Spikes, you should check out the page as I am introducing a new format for game pages. If you don't like the new format for future game pages, you should email me and complain now before I make it a permanent change. Likewise, if you like the new format, and don't want the haters forcing the old format on you also consider emailing me. More information about the rational behind the changes is in the blazing games development blog.

Egg GeneratorApril 15th to April 21st, 2007

Last week I asked for comments about the new page format that I was planning on using in the future (if you missed that, take a look at Thirteen Spikes ). I am proud to say that the responses were 100% positive. The problem is that only one person responded! Well, at least that is all the emails that I actually received, as with the spam problem the way it is email simply is not reliable anymore. Still, I kind of wanted more feedback and know from prior experience that people are far more likely to answer a poll than an email, so I am temporarily pausing the game to work on next vote and having a week long vote on what should happen with game pages. Speaking of games, Modern Melee Combat isn't quite ready so in it's place I am releasing the open source version of One of those Weeks episode 14. Sorry, no making of document yet, but watch my blog for the rough draft of that over the next week or two.

Egg GeneratorApril 22th to April 28th, 2007

Although the voting results are in and the new format won out, I am not going to start using the new format today as I am already way behind schedule. This week's game, as readers of my blog already know, is episode 26 of One of those Weeks. The episode was kind of rushed so is much shorter than I envisioned, but I will try to have the next two episodes be larger. That being said, after day 4 One of those Weeks episodes will require Flash 9.
