Playing the Game

At the top of the screen is your hint. This hint helps you figure out what the sentence should be. All the sentences in the game are famous quotes from prominent people or from famous science fiction novels. Even if you are not familiar with the person or novel being quoted from, you should still be able to solve the puzzle though it is much easier if you have a rough idea of what the sentence might be.

The middle of the screen is the puzzle. The large white letters are the results of your cipher while the red letters are the original source letters. The red letters are important later in the game as you need to have the source letter pointing to the proper resulting letter and as the game progresses the source and results are likely to be different letters.

Changing the letters is a simple drag and drop operation that is done at the bottom of the screen. You simply need to click on the source letter and drag it down to the letter you want to replace it with. Lines are drawn between all the source and destination letters so you can gain a visual view of the cipher. You can also drag a letter from the bottommost results line up to the source line if you find it easier to think that way.

Once you have properly revealed the sentence, the explanation line will appear and you will be able to return to the title screen to select another puzzle. There are 12 different puzzles.
