Playing the Game

You are presented with the encoded text. Your job is to make the text readable by coming up with the letter order that was used to write the message (at least, the letters that were used to write the message). To do this you create the translation cypher by assigning replacement letters to use. The letter that was previously used is swapped with the old letter so every change affects two letters. This is done to reduce confusion as each letter has to map to another letter.

Behind the Game

Cyphers are a small part of the much larger field of encryption, which I have a mild interest in. While more complicated cyphers exist, for the sake of having a playable game, I stuck with the most simple type of cypher I know of.
