Ridding the Bus part 1

With no working vehicle you still need to go to the office for the important meeting. Thankfully, you are in a city that has public transportation. Of course, public transportation is not always as easy to use as it should be. In fact, this whole episode is based on a real life event that I witnessed when I was in Calgary. Granted, the route I was on was not the best routes and the time of day was later so it may have just been that the driver was not in the best of moods and took it out on the poor passenger. Or it could have been that the driver knew the passenger and decided any excuse not to have the passenger on the bus was a good one. My mind reading ability is not that great so I have no clue what was going on in the bus driver’s mind, but many years later I can still remember the event even though I can’t remember where I left my USB Drive. Go figure.

Getting to the bus stop is easy enough. It is just two clicks away. Here is a map for the sake of completeness. You will notice that there is a big spot on the map missing. I was originally going to have a much longer journey to the bus stop, but didn’t have the art or the time, so decided that the bus incident and minor store puzzle would be enough.

I should point out that there is a hidden puzzle at this point. I had thought that this was obvious, but took care not focus too much on this optional task (which is worth five points). Quite simply, most people know that it is not wise to leave a garage door open.

When you get to the bus stop, you get to meet the bus driver. He want’s exact change. You only have five dollars. Below is the conversation map. There are no points to be earned here, but you will lose 5 points if you make the driver throw you off the bus. And no, the real incident did not require the bus driver to physically remove the passenger, though I have the feeling he would have.
