Instructions

The goal of the game is to stop a group of aliens from collecting asteroids that will be used to bombard the Earth. While it is possible to shoot the asteroids, they are not overly easy to destroy so your time is better spent focusing on the aliens who will be shooting back at you.

The ship is moved by applying thrust to alter the direction it is moving. The W or up cursor fires the main thruster. Q and E can be used to fire left and right thrusters. Turn using the left and right arrows or the A and D keys. Fire using the space bar. Remember that objects in motion stay in motion so in order to stop, you need to thrust in the opposite direction you are moving in. Obviously, being hit by a laser or running into asteroids is not good but you have a shield that will protect you for a limited amount of hits.

Story mode lets you go through the Twelve months of doomsday story where you only have to complete a single level to win.

Unlimited Mode is arcade like where you keep playing until you run out of lives. Each level will run at a faster pace than preceding levels. Points are earned by landing on the targets and for finishing a level quickly.

This is part of the 12 Months of Doomsday series that I am going to be releasing in 2012 to celebrate the end of the world.
